Today’s Tree Care Visit

*PLEASE KEEP PEOPLE AND PETS AWAY FROM THE TREATED PLANTS UNTIL THE APPLICATIONS FROM THE TREE CARE VISIT LISTED BELOW ARE DRY.*

Horticultural Oil Application

What you can expect:

Horticultural Oils are an ecologically friendly way to handle many plant pests. The oil is highly refined to remove impurities that could damage plants. The oils work by smothering the insects & their eggs.

Why this is important:

This treatment helps to control over-wintering pests that may be present on the plants. Horticultural oils are also known to suppress some plant diseases. Follow up treatments for additional insect and/or disease control, throughout the season may be needed.

What you can do to benefit most from today’s visit:

Please keep people and pets away from the treated plants until the application is dry. The product typically dries within 1-2 hours and any precipitation after this time will not adversely affect the treatment.

Spring Deep Root Fertilization

What was done:

A complete fertilizer was injected approximately 6 inches below the surface into the area surrounding the root zone. The fertilizer applied contains 55% Controlled Release Nitrogen with Phosphorus, Potassium, and essential micronutrients such as Iron.

Why this is important:

To help the nutrients get to the target plant instead of nearby turf roots. Fertilization allows plants to maintain vigor and vitality. Healthy plants are able to better withstand disease and insect activity as well as weather conditions. Rain and soil moisture will help increase the rate of root absorption.
